Eric Linser, CFA, is a San Francisco-based Private Wealth Manager with Green Valley Wealth Advisors *, an independent registered investment advisory (RIA) firm.
For 25+ years, Eric has been actively involved in investment portfolio management, securities research, and providing wealth planning guidance for clients to achieve successful and financially secure retirements.
Eric provides enlightening and ongoing economic and financial education and commentary through this web log.
Eric’s expertise includes providing comprehensive fiduciary investment counseling and active asset management to individuals, families businesses and eleemosynary institutions. A particular focus is on generating income for retirees.
Eric coordinates with other professionals to provide a comprehensive viewpoint, especially for advanced wealth transfer techniques.
Eric’s permeating view is that, as an investment advisor, he should deliver solid asset growth while minimizing risk, and to tailor investment opportunities based on variable client needs. “Wealth management is a triumvirate of sound investment, estate planning and tax management,” states Eric. “Smart estate and tax planning schemes go to waste if one’s investment assets fail to grow over time.”
Eric’s life-long passion for investing led him on a path of being a securities trader, analyst, research director and portfolio manager, having worked at registered investment advisory firms, a large bank and a wirehouse. Along the way, Eric recognized there are too many people who lack the knowledge and guidance necessary to achieve a successful and financially secure retirement. Eric felt compelled to provide savers and investors with more knowledge and counseling around wealth management. To that end, Eric founded Green Valley Wealth Advisors in 2009, an independent investment advisory practice.
In 2016, Eric merged his wealth advisory practice with Naples Asset Management Company, an SEC registered investment advisory firm. The firm offers a variety of financial services to the investing public.

Eric is a cycling enthusiast and enjoys the great outdoors.
Eric is available for interviews on economic, market and wealth management topics, as well as speaking on workplace education for employer-sponsored retirement savings plans.
